Here are two (2) self-employment projects I can embark on and the reasons:

1. Dropshipping: This is simply a project where an individual gets sale orders from a customer and sends it to a seller who then delivers to the customer on behalf of that individual.

Reasons For Dropshipping

i. It's a project I can embark with little or no capital.

ii. I can easily reach a wide range of my target audience because the world is on the internet.

iii. It's a project that I can run from the comfort of my home without moving an inch.

iv. It's a project that makes me give value to people while making my money.

v. The project can still allow me engage in other streams of income.

Steps To Adopt For Dropshipping:

i. Research hot selling products

ii. Pick a particular niche that's hot selling.

iii. Get an e-commerce site and upload your products there. If there is no money for site, utilize social media.

iv. Once you start receiving orders, send it to the seller/producer.

v. The producer/seller conveys the goods to the customer in your name.

vi. The cycle continues.

2. Recycling of plastic bags: Plastic bags are what alot of people make use of today. We see it littered all over the surface of the earth. There is potential wealth creation in the recycling of waste plastic bags.

Recycling of plastic bags simply refers to the transformation of waste/used plastic bags into useful materials.

Reasons for embarking this project:

i. To help reduce and drastically terminate environmental polution caused by plastic materials.

ii. To support in the actualization of the SDGs.

iii. To help create employment opportunities.

iv. To help develop skills among employees.

v. To be responsible.

Steps to adopt:

i. Gather some unemployed people and send them to help you gather waste plastic bags.

ii. Locate any available recycling company and partner with them.

iii. Clean up the waste plastics.

iv. Sort them out properly for easy recycling process.

v. If ready, get to your recycling company and sell off the waste material to them for recycling.

vi. The cycle continues.

panem is a communist totalitarian dictatorship where all the resources and how they are allocated belongs to the capitol. the districts exist only to provide goods and services for the capital and most of the citizens live in poverty. it is a police state where the "peacekeepers" use force and threats to keep the people under control. dissent is outlawed and those who disobey the law are executed, flogged, or turned into avoxes. the games are another means in which the ruling elite in the capitol exert their power over the districts. when reading the books i drew parallels between panem and the soviet union and north korea. in no way is panem capitalist. the people in the capitol are wealthy but the majority of them are involved in the government somehow. it was the same way in the former soviet union where bigwigs in the communist party and high ranking government officials were given access to goods, services, medical treatments not available to the general public. if you think panem has a capitalist economy you need to brush up on your economics.
