Elevator is important for Guardians, Small children, visitors. It makes our life easier as it helps to reach to different floors faster, and in easier transportation of goods. It is most helpful in urban areas which are full of multi storey buildings and it wouldn't have been possible to live in them without elevators. The lifts would not have been so popular  without Elisha Graves Otis's safety device that prevents elevators from falling in case of failure of hoisting cable.
