Explanation:  Enlightenment thinkers , first of all, questioned religion as a dogmatic system of rule used by absolutist rulers. In addition, the science, which went along with the Enlightenment, was used by the Enlightenment thinkers to explain that all, even religious feelings, the right to life, freedom are based on natural rights. The ultimate goal of this philosophy is that, based on the rights that all are obtain by birth, and not by the decision of the church dogma or the ruler, they can decide what kind of government they will have, and decide when they are working for their benefit and when not.

the federal government of the united states was established by the constitution. us is a presidential republic. the president is head of state, head of government and of a two party legislative and electoral system. the supreme court balances the powers of the federal and the state government. yhe executive branch is headed by the oresident. there are two chambers of congress, the senate and the house of representatives. judicial power is exercised by the judicial branch (or judiciary), comprised of the supreme court and lower federal courts. the judiciary's function is to interpret the   constitution as well as the federal laws and regulations.
