What is the Jungian archetype that is described as the "blind spot" of the ego? An analogy that is that every driver knows there is a blind spot in his or her car. It is a spot that no mirror shows and if you don't check the blind spot by physically turning your head and looking when changing lanes, an accident might occur. Shadow is the dumping ground of the ego and everything that disturbs or is denied by the ego is buried there.
