Millie is having short term memory loss due to the effects of brain injury or damage. It could also be as a result of the effects of drugs or alcohol poisoning. Millie will be able to remember events that happened fifteen years ago but will be sketchy on what happened fifteen minutes back. Stress, anxiety and depression can also impact the intensity of short-term memory loss otherwise known as amnesia.
