The sociology study on neighborhoods´ effects is based on 2 main statements or dichotmy. The second approach in this regards is a flexible perspective of continuity in the neighborhood and family life´s course, as an important frame for the study of context effects, as individuals’  residential environments are never erased from  their memories and they persist and build up strong over long periods of time and generations of families.
