In late adulthood, when people are at the age of 65 or older they start to reminisce about their lives and come into terms with what they have accomplished or have failed to accomplish. If they are satisfied with what they have accomplished they will find integrity but if they regret and can't make peace with their failure they would experience despair.

When a person is able to come to resolution of their crisis like Yasmin they develop an ego integrity, they are able to look back with a happy heart and with no remorse such as Yasmin who is able to openly shares her experience and display it confidently at her home she can be said to have established an ego integrity.
