Native Americans lived in tribes, and their cultures and villages consisted of Pueblo's, kivas, totems, tepees, matrilineal, and Iroquois League. Discovery of America by Columbus is a contested idea because America was already populated with Native Americans who developed American civilization long ago. Their houses were made of heavy clay and they were called as Pueblo's. They had separate rooms for meeting and other community gatherings called Kivas.
