How did the los topos group get its name. why is this group so important

Los Topos means the moles and the name given to the group by their fans for their heroic feats, burrowing under collapsed buildings to pull out the people who were stuck 

Cause earthquakes are caused ny the shifting of the earths plates. Fault lines are the lines that separate the plates. A very large fault line runs through western Mexico, when the plates shift, the fault-lines move, and often create mountains, or valleys.
