In the late 1950's, improvements in technology allowed the first man-made objects to be launched into space to orbit the earth. although these early spacecrafts were unmanned, they still to gather information about the upper layers of the atmosphere. by the early 1960's, the first manned space shuttles were launched. how have these manned and unmanned trips encourage scientific discoveries? a. manned trips are able to bring back data, such as photographs, while unmanned trips cannot collect data at all. b. manned trips allow humans to analyze discoveries personally, while unmanned trips allow discoveries to be made in dangerous areas. c. manned trips result in more interesting facts being found, while unmanned trips rarely result in new information. d. manned trips collect scientifically accurate data to be analyzed, but unmanned trips only collect interesting, yet inaccurate, data.
