How is the daily life in a village in east africa different from the daily life in a city in east africa?

Daily life in the cities of East Africa are highly influenced by overcrowding and Colonial/Western cultures and religions (especially Islam and Christianity), yet daily village life is often very traditional with fertile farming land and chiefs/other important elders leading societies.
