Researching Earth’s Magnetic Field
In this activity, you will use web and print sources to research Earth’s magnetic field and how it interacts with the solar wind. While taking notes, you may want to use these reading strategies. Write down the information from each source in your own words. Keep track of each source you use, and cite it in proper Modern Language Association (MLA) citation methods so that you can create a bibliography later on.
An important aspect of research is learning to recognize credible sources. Credible sources provide information that you can trust to be accurate. Websites that end in .gov (government sites), such as NASA. gov, are credible. Websites that end in .edu are usually credible. Some .org and .com websites are credible if content is based on facts.
Part E
In the space below, record all the sites you used for your research in proper MLA format.
