What came first a chicken or a chicken egg?

The egg came first, then it hatched a chicken.

I believe that the chicken came first, then hatched the egg. If you didn't know, chickens have evolved from dinosaurs. This backs my opinion up. The chicken had evolved from the dinosaur, then laid the egg. The egg then hatched and the process continues.
