In a parallel circuit with three bulbs,
a. the bulbs must all be located on the same branch
b. there is only one path for the current to take

In a circuit with three light bulbs all in parallel, the
current through each light bulb has its own path.

That's the current THROUGH each light bulb, not
the current "from" it.  All of the current in any circuit
is supplied by the battery or other power supply.
