Arocket will move upward as long as the thrust is greater than the force of gravity. true or false

Well, that statement simplifies and glosses over so many
finer points, that I can't bring myself to just say "true".

-- A rocket will move upward when the thrust is greater than
the force of gravity.

-- A rocket will also accelerate upward when the thrust is greater
than the force of gravity.

-- A rocket will also move upward as long as the upward velocity
that it had when the engines cut out hasn't yet dwindled to zero
because of the force of gravity. (Like the rock that you tossed
upward, and is still moving upward for the next few seconds
even though there's no longer any thrust.)
