(1) When you rub a balloon on your hair, electrons move from your hair onto the balloon. (a) After rubbing the balloon on your head, the balloon is having a charge of -0.3 uc, determine how many electrons have been transferred from your head to the balloon.

(b) When the balloon possesses electric charge of -0.3 uc, state the amount of charge your head possesses. Explain your answer.

I have no idea on this topic, could anyone help me? I still had no idea on what my teacher was saying while on full focus mode. I'm pretty sure he did not say anything about the uc thing

Agas initially at p1 = 1 bar and occupying a volume of 0.5 liter is compressed within a piston–cylinder assembly to a final pressure p2 = 4 bar. (a) if the relationship between pressure and volume during the compression is pv = constant, determine the volume, in liters, at a pressure of 3 bar. (b) repeat for a linear pressure–volume relationship between the same end states. reference

Global warming will produce rising sea levels partly due to melting ice caps but also due to the expansion of water as average ocean temperatures rise. to get some idea of the size of this effect, calculate the change in length of a column of water 1.00 km high for a temperature increase of 1.00ºc. note that this calculation is only approximate because ocean warming is not uniform with depth. (answer in ×10^{-3} −3 m)
