In Pole to Pole, an early science fiction story by George Griffith, three explorers attempt to travel by capsule through a naturally formed (and, of course, fictional) tunnel directly from the south pole to the north pole. According to the story, as the capsule approaches Earth's center, the gravitational force on the explorers becomes alarmingly large and then, exactly at the center, it suddenly but only momentarily disappears. from periodic table   the molar mass of ag =107.87 g/mol

mass   = 0.472   moles x 107.87 g/mol = 50.9 g

3.   the   much   silver   collected worth is   1.797 oz

  convert   50.9 g   to oz

that is   1 gram = 0.0353 oz

          50.9 grams =?   oz

by cross multiplication

={(50.9 grams x 0.0353 oz) / 1   gram}   =1.797 oz

the box does not move because you need to use a force greater than 300 n. you are only using 50 n. it needs to at least be 301 n for the box to move because then it is an unbalanced force and it will move the way that the greater force is pushing it. if you use only 300 n it will be a balanced force and will not move because the force you are exerting on the   box is the same as its force.

when two balls of the different masses are dropped from equal height, they reach the ground at the same time .this is because they experience the same acceleration.

the acceleration is independent of mass.

thus when they are dropped they will always maintain the same velocity and travel the same distance (neglect air resistance of course) at the same time.

the design of a ski jumping suit involves a trade-off between giving the skiers lift to get higher jumps and ensuring the skier does not face a lot of drag before the jump itself. an expansive suit may to lift the skier higher, but at the same time, it will also increase the air resistance. higher air resistance as the skier goes down the slope limits the speed of the jump. a big suit also increases the risk of losing balance or control, especially if there's a strong gust of wind. while technologically enhanced suits a lot, clothing is not the only factor in a ski jumper’s success. gathering speed while skiing down the slope, ensuring good speed on the ramp, and maintaining good body posture and form in the air all contribute to a ski jumper's success.
