Law of Conservation of Mass You are to write a lengthy CER paragraph. Below is an outline/organizer. Your final product should be a well organized paragraph. Your paragraph will probably be about 10-15 sentences. You will need to use data from past activities we have done in class as well as your notes about Lavoisier from Friday. Your paragraph should be below the directions. This is homework if you do not finish in class.

The claim should be highlighted in yellow.

Evidence concerning a physical change should be highlighted in green.

Evidence concerning a chemical change should be highlighted in blue.

Evidence concerning a balanced equation should be highlighted in purple.

Reasoning should be highlighted in red.

You are to make a claim stating if mass is conserved in physical and chemical changes.

You will give 3 pieces of evidence to support your claim.
Explain and give data from one activity showing a physical change
Explain and give data from one activity showing a chemical change
Explain and give one example of a balanced equation

Reasoning- State the Law of conservation of mass, tell who came up with this Law, and how he did that.

It is reasonable to assume that the bulk modulus of blood is about the same as that of water (2.2 gpa). as one goes deeper and deeper in the ocean, the pressure increases by 10000 pa for every meter below the surface. if a diver goes down 80.0 m in the ocean, by how much does each cubic centimeter of her blood change in volume? give the answer in cubic centimeters (actually one cubic centimeter equals one milliliter).
