A student fires a cannonball diagonally with a speed of 22.0m/s from a height of 42.0m as shown. Neglect drag. Determine all unknowns and answer the following questions. How long did the ball rise?

What was the ball's maximum height above the ground?

How long did the ball remain in the air?

How far from the base of the building did the ball land?

How fast was the ball moving as it struck the ground?

At what angle (with the horizontal) did the ball land?

Calculate the magnitude of the angle between the final velocity vector and the nearest horizontal. Answers should be between 0 and 90°.

Please refer to the picture attached.
