Fermilab is a national laboratory that was constructed in Batavia Illinois in 1967. Until it was shut down in 2011 it was the home to the Tevatron, the world's second-largest energy particle accelerator that was used to accelerate particles of matter and
antimatter to incredibly high speeds. For our purposestplease consider an electron that has been accelerated in the Tevatron
and is shooting down a 2-mile long straight path towards a detector, but from the electron's point of view the path appears to
be only about 1 meter long. From the point of view of the rest frame of the Tevatron, a clock in the reference frame of the
electron would be
Select one:
O a. Running slow
b. Running fast
© C. The same speed as its clock
