Postural Triangle

Human bodies have been designed to assume a given posture while doing specific activities. While standing, human beings have to maintain a posture that allows all weight to be on the feet. The postural variety is recommended to avoid musculoskeletal problems. This is majorly caused by static posture characterized by low movement frequency. The postural triangle contains four parts which include workspace design, personal factors, working posture and task requirements. The triangle is mainly affected by the task requirements. The prevailing task requirements form the top part of the triangle.
