your first one (mass, volume, and length) could be planets (we measure the mass of planets relative to Earth's.) and we measure their volume also relative to Earth's, (you could fit 300 Earths in Jupiter.) and length (11 Earths could line along Jupiter's surface.) and everything els.

Your second one would be that they are equal. a POUND (1 pound of rocks ways as much as 1 pound of cotton candy) of lead is equal in weigt to that of a pound of feathers because they way the same (a pound). the reason people say it is lead is that feathers are much less dense than lead which means that per unit volume the feathers way less than lead.
