Choose two of the following scenarios and write how Newtons laws are demonstrated in these scenarios (I chose these two down below at the bottom)
How are Newton’s Laws demonstrated in this scenario?
How does the mass of the object affect the object's forces and motion?
How does Gravity play a role in the scenario?
Where is the potential and/or kinetic energy and how is it transferred from one thing to another?
Is there friction? If so what kind of friction, what is the result of the friction?

Scenario ONE
Billy dribbled a basketball down the basketball court. Billy was being guarded by Frank. As Billy went in for the layup (fancy word for a shot under the basket - see picture to the left) he bumped into Frank and Frank fell to the floor. The ball hit the back of the backboard and then went through the hoop. Score!

Scenario Two
Aidan and Kegan are sunbathing on a dock 20 feet from the shore. Keegan and Aidan both stand up and the dock seems to topple back and forth. Keegan gives Aidan a big shove. Aidan falls into the water and is forced to swim back to the shore. Meanwhile, on the dock, Keegan has decided to do a victory dance, which causes the dock to rock back and forth, throwing him off the dock and into the water. Keegan is also forced to swim back to the shore.

Air is contained in a variable-load piston-cylinder device equipped with a paddle wheel. initially, air is at 400 kpa and 17°c. the paddle wheel is now turned by an external electric motor until 75 kj/kg of work has been transferred to air. during this process, heat is transferred to maintain a constant air temperature while allowing the gas volume to triple. calculate the required amount of heat transfer in kj/kg.
