Solve a problem by designing a device that uses thermal conductors or insulators. You can come up with your own problem to solve (preferred) or work on one of these problems:
Campers want a travel cup that uses a cold pack to cool a liquid. Design the outer part of the cup that keeps the drink cold once it has been cooled down.

An animal refuge routinely moves turtle eggs to a new location. Typically buried in the ground, the eggs have to be kept at the same temperature as the ground while they’re being moved. Design an insulated container to keep the eggs at the correct temperature.
Storing a cell phone in a cold environment is detrimental to its battery life. Design a “coat” or a container for a cell phone to shield it from cold weather and prolong its battery life.
