In a classroom demonstration, a beam of coherent light of wavelength 550 nm is incident perpendicularly onto a pair of slits. Each slit has a width w of 1.2 x 10 ^-6m and the distance d between the centers of the is 1.8 x 10 ^-5m. The class observes light and dark fringes on a screen that is a distance L of 2.2 m from the slits. Required:
a. Calculate the frequency of the light.
b. Calculate the distance between tow adjacent dark fringes on the screen.
c. what is the frequency of the light in the transparent fluid?
d. Does the distance between the dark fringes increase, decrease, or remain same? Explain your reasoning.

Will give brainliest! which statement best describes the difference between strong nuclear forces and weak nuclear forces? weak nuclear forces are involved when certain types of atoms break down. strong nuclear forces are responsible for holding atoms' nucleus together. weak nuclear forces hold bonds between atoms together. strong nuclear forces hold together the nucleus of an atom. strong nuclear bonds prevent atoms from falling apart. weak nuclear bonds prevent compounds from falling apart. strong nuclear forces are involved in breaking electrons from their shells. weak nuclear forces hold protons in the nucleus.

Amass m = 74 kg slides on a frictionless track that has a drop, followed by a loop-the-loop with radius r = 18.4 m and finally a flat straight section at the same height as the center of the loop (18.4 m off the ground). since the mass would not make it around the loop if released from the height of the top of the loop (do you know why? ) it must be released above the top of the loop-the-loop height. (assume the mass never leaves the smooth track at any point on its path.) 1. what is the minimum speed the block must have at the top of the loop to make it around the loop-the-loop without leaving the track? 2. what height above the ground must the mass begin to make it around the loop-the-loop? 3. if the mass has just enough speed to make it around the loop without leaving the track, what will its speed be at the bottom of the loop? 4. if the mass has just enough speed to make it around the loop without leaving the track, what is its speed at the final flat level (18.4 m off the ground)? 5. now a spring with spring constant k = 15600 n/m is used on the final flat surface to stop the mass. how far does the spring compress?
