Good scientists use their imagination. what is the difference between being imaginative in doing science and doing pseudoscience?

Being imaginative is always good in any field. Science is the field of knowledge where a scientist try to gather facts and figures to reach a conclusion while Pseudoscience is the set of beliefs and doctrines which are mistakenly thought to have their base on science. 

Being imaginative in Science can help a scientist make progress in positive ways while being imaginative in Pseudoscience can lead to superstitious and extremists in some extreme cases.
