How do the individual powers of each of the resistors compared to a total power output of the voltage supply?

Power is basically the amount of energy in Joules per unit time in seconds. Hence, whether the configuration of the circuit is parallel or series, it always follows the Law of Conservation of Energy. As current passes through the resistor they consume energy in the form of heat dissipation. The total power of the output is equal to the sum of the individual powers consumed by the resistors. Ideally,

Power of source = Power of output = Power in terms of heat dissipation
P,total = P1 + P2 + P3 + + Pn
