The Specificity Principle is key to developing effective fitness training programs for sports.
The Principle of Specificity states that an athelete should move from a higher general training to a higher specific training. That means a swimmer should do only swimming at most of his/her training hours. This lead their minds to be more specific and concentrated toward their game.
hope this helps luv
While the various components of skill-related fitness are interrelated, specific training can target particular skills for improvement. General levels of skill-related fitness are important for all sports, but some high-performance sports require a high level of fitness with a specific skill. By targeting the improvement of the particular skill required, specificity can be used to improve performance in the desired sport.
Specificity will create a training program that specifically target 1 aspect of physical fitness (such as upper body strength, agility, endurance, lower body strength, etc)
In soccer for example, most of the layers will divide their training programs each to specifically focus their training on endurance, agility, and lower body strength since they don't use their upper body much
the focus of lesson 1 is newton's first law of motion - sometimes referred to as the law of inertia. newton's first law of motion is often stated as. an object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
