How does photosynthesis use solar energy?

the sun starts the process of the plant growing and then it doesn't do anything else.

the sun's energy creates an area for the plant to be warm and happy.

the sun's energy is converted to heat.

light energy is converted to chemical energy which in turn gives the plant glucose.
