An asteroid is discovered in a nearly circular orbit around the sun, with an orbital radius that is 2.47 times earth's. what is the asteroid's orbital period, its "year," in terms of earth years?

Under the action of a constant force an object accelerates at 7.8 m/s2. what will the acceleration be if (a) the force is halved? (b) the object's mass is halved? (c) the force and the object's mass are both halved? (d) the force is halved and the object's mass is doubled?

This is for my 8th grade science class, i really don’t understand. can someone me? , lol.
