Initially, the rotation speed of the ride is high enough, so Einstein will not slip on the wood plank. Once the rotation speed starts to decrease, the normal force that provides the centripetal acceleration for the system decreases too, and eventually the friction between Einstein and the plank is small enough so Einstein will start slipping on the plank. Use Newton's 2nd law to balance forces acting on Einstein and evaluate the static friction coefficient. g
