Phil the Physics Phool stands at the edge of a 45 m tall cliff. He throws a rock upwards at 25 m/s. a)  What is the speed of the rock as it strikes the ground 45 m below Phil?

b) What is the distance (NOT THE DISPLACEMENT) traveled by the rock from Phil’s hand to the ground?
