A man is flying in a hot-air balloon in a straight line at a constant rate of 4 feet per second, while maintaining it at a constant altitude. As he approaches the parking lot of a market, he notices that the angle of depression from his balloon to a friend's car in the parking lot is 35(degrees). A minute and a half later, after flying directly over his friend's car, he looks back to see his friend getting into the car and observes the angle of depression to be 36(degrees). At that time, what is the distance between him and his friend?

Imagine that you have two balloons (or, better yet, actually inflate two balloons, if possible). create static electricity around one of the balloons by rubbing it against your hair or your sweater and then bring that balloon close to the other balloon, which has not been charged. try this with at least one other object—and for variety in the discussion, avoid using an object already described by your classmates. then, for your initial post to the discussion, answer the following questions: what happened with the two balloons?

You have a resistor and a capacitor of unknown values. first, you charge the capacitor and discharge it through the resistor. by monitoring the capacitor voltage on an oscilloscope, you see that the voltage decays to half its initial value in 2.70 miss . you then use the resistor and capacitor to make a low-pass filter. what is the crossover frequency fc?
