A 50 kg person jumps off a 210m cliff attached to a 100m bungee cord with a spring constant of 20 N/m. During the first 100m, the person is in free fall. The bungee engages immediately after the 100m mark. a. If the person is 1.6m tall, will they hit the ground? If not, how high above the ground will he reverse direction?

b. If the known tensile strength of the bungee is 2,000 N, will that affect your answer to question 1? Explain.
