Worker pushes the carriage with the object of mass in it along the ramp which forms 30° angle with respect to the horizontal. The worker covers the distance along the ramp. Assume that carriage rolls without friction and its mass is negligible compared to the mass of the object. Calculate the work done by worker. If the worker lifts the object vertically instead of putting it in the carriage and pushing along the ramp, will the work done by worker change (explain)? How the force exerted by worker during rolling of the carriage and force exerted during vertical lift compare?
