where v0 is the initial speed, a is the acceleration and t is the time.

So:

v = 5m/s^2*5s + 25m/s = 50 m/s

for the third medium v = 0 km/s

so, refractive index of medium = 300000/0 = ∞

    ∞ refractive index is usually for opaque mediums. so third medium is opaque medium.
