Part 1: Method

Connect the timer to the power supply.
Put a 1 m length of tape under the carbon disc
and switch on. Pull the tape through steadily.
Cut the tape into FIVE-TICK lengths.
Determine the distance, speed and acceleration
for each of the FIVE-TICK lengths. Show all calculations in Appendix A.
