Design an incline plane to help a person in a wheel chair up steps that are 60 cm high. The person and the chair weigh together 900 N. The greatest force that the person can exert is 150 N. Find the length of the inclined plane that is required. Hint: this is a 2 step problem. Find MA first, then find the length of the incline plane.

Atwo-stage air compressor operates at steady state, compression 10m^3/min of air from 100 kpa and 300k to 1200 kpa. an intercooler between the two stages cools the air to 300k at a constant pressure of 350 kpa. the compression processes are isentropic. a) calculate the power required to run the compressor, in kw b) compare the result to the power required for isentropic compression from the same inlet state to the same final pressure.

Assume you measured the mass of the cart to be (500 ± 1) g and the mass of the additional mass you put on the cart to be (500 ± 1) g as well. since the scale you are using in the lab cannot measure objects heavier than 600g you will have to sum up individual pieces and propagate the error. so what would be the mass and the standard error of the cart and the mass
