A small segment of a string under tension with a force of Fin which a pulse moves with a speed of v and show how one arrives at equation (1). Show all the details of your work.
2. Starting with the vertical position equation of a wave shown here,
y(x, t) = A sin(kx - wt)
Calculate the vertical position y in [cm], vertical speed Vy in [m/s] and vertical acceleration ay in [m/s] of the wave that the wave driver generated at x = 15 cm and at time t = 3 s during trial 5 of this experiment. Assume that A = 2 cm. The other values in the equation can be calculated from the experimental data. Remember to differentiate the above equation to get the expressions for Vy and ay.
y = 1.447 cm,
V = -4.25 m/s
a = -1372 m/s2
v=√Ft/u

4r-134a enters the condenser of a residential heat pump at 800 kpa and 50°c at a rate of 0.022 kg/s and leaves at 750 kpa subcooled by 3°c. the refrigerant enters the compressor at 200 kpa superheated by 4°c determine (a) the isentropic efficiency of the compressor, (b) the rate of heat supplied to the heated room, and (c) the cop of the heat pump. also, determine (d) the cop and rate of heat supplied to the heated room if this heat pump operated on the ideal vapor-compression cycle between the pressure limits of 200 and 800 kpa.
