Wave interaction is a phenomenon that explains how waves interact with the matter around us like. air, water, etc. There are different types of wave interactions like refraction, reflection, interference, and diffraction.

(i) Refraction occurs when a wave passes through a transparent surface and it bends slightly due to the change in its speed.

(ii) Reflection occurs when the wave strikes on a polished surface and bounce back in the same medium. In this wave, interaction light doesn't enter into the surface.

(iii) Interference occurs when two waves interact with each other at the same time and form a resultant wave of greater or lower amplitude.

(iv) Diffraction takes place when a wave passes along obstacles or through the slit. Due to which bending of light takes place.

from equation above, liclo₃: o₂   is 2: 3  

therefore the moles of   o₂=0.4281 moles x3/2 =0.6422   moles

step 3: find mass   of o₂

mass= moles x molar mass

from periodic table the   molar mass of   o₂ = 16 x2= 32 g/mol

mass=0.6422   moles   x   32 g/mol = 20.6 grams of o₂
