A planet has been observed orbiting a nearby star. This star has a mass of 3.5 solar masses, and the planet is 4.2 AU from the star. What is the planet’s orbital period in Earth years? Round your answer to the nearest whole number. I know the answer is 16 Earth years... but I don't understand how to get there. When I convert the solar mass and AU into kg and meters, respectively, and solve for the planet's orbital period, I get 0.11. Do you need to convert AU and solar mass into different units to use Kepler's laws (specifically Kepler's third law)? Please help, thanks
