James and Doug decide to move a 100. kg box along a rough floor. Doug pushes down at an angle on the box with a force of 100. N but the box does not slide. James pulls up on the box with the same force and angel and the box moves! Explain why the box moved for James but not for Doug using physics and common sense.

The answer is water molecules are split.cellular respiration and photosynthesis are complement  reactions to each other. these are reverse reactions. in cellular respiration glucose and oxygen yield water and carbon dioxide. so, when respiration begins,  glucose molecules are split. in the opposite reaction - in photosynthesis, carbon dioxide and water yield glucose and oxygen. thus,  when respiration begins, water molecules are split.
