A child's cubic play block has a mass of 120.0 g and sides of 5.00 cm. When placed it is in a bathtub full of water, what fraction of the block will be submerged? (Hint: the density of the water in the bathtub may be assumed to be the same as for fresh water, that is, 1.00 grams/cm3. Note also that if you calculate a number larger than 1 or 100%, this means that the block is sinking and so is 100% submerged.)
