Two frisbees with the same mass and radius; m = 150 [g], r = 12.5 [cm], are thrown head on towards each other. They collide and bounce off each other. One disk is thrown with a translational velocity v1 = 14.0 [m]/[s] with an angular velocity of ω1 = -10.0 [rad]/[s] and a second disk is thrown with a translational velocity of v2 = -10.0 [m]/[s] with an angular velocity ω2 = 20.0 [rad]/[s]. Both frisbees can be described as a thin disk combined with a thin ring, where the mass of the disk part is 1/5 of the mass of the ring part. a) What is the moment of inertia of any one of the frisbee disks? b) What is the angular momentum of each disk before the collision takes place? c) What is the total energy before they collide? d) What are the final translational velocities of the two frisbees? e) Right after they collide, the first frisbee is found to spin with an angular velocity of = -8.00 [rad]/[s]. What is the angular velocity of the second frisbee? f) Is rotational kinetic energy conserved? If no, where did the energy go? (Support why with calculations.) g) During the collision, the two frisbees rubbed their edges against one another over a distance of 3 [cm]. Calculate the amount of torque and the amount friction force that must have existed between the two frisbees.

The average time that it takes for the car to travel the first 0.25m is s. the average time to travel just between 0.25 m and 0.50 m is s. given the time taken to travel the second 0.25 m section, the velocity would be m/s.
