What best describes how the structure of the brain relates to different body functions? Different sections of the brain are capable of performing every function but will only control one at a time. Many different sections of the brain are responsible for different functions, and some sections have more specific functions than others. There are three parts of the brain, and within each part, every section works on the exact same functions. Every part of the brain is integrated with others so that every section must be working in order for any body function to occur.
