egg drop test:
1. calculate velocity of each protoype when it impacts the ground.
2. use the impulse momentum theorem to calculate the impulse of the structure with the egg on impact. (assuming the egg is brought to rest on impact)
3. determine the force of impact on the egg for each prototype that would occur based on the devices mass and acceleration at the time of impact. (this calculated force does not take into account the device desgin that may reduce the force being felt)

prototype 1: mass of 87g, drop height of 5m, and assume freefall
prototype 2: mass of 150g, drop height of 5m, and upward force of air resistance equal to 0.35n
prototype 3: mass of 225g, drop height of 5m, and assume freefall

An electric power distributor charges residential customers $0.10 per kilowatt-hour (kwh). the company advertises that "green power" is available in 150 kwh blocks for an additional $4 per month. (green power is generated from solar, wind power, and methane sources.) if a certain customer uses an average of 391 kwh per month and commits to one monthly 150 kwh block of green power, what is her annual power bill
