Design a double-dwell (rdfd) cam to move a follower from 0 to 0.75" in 80o, dwell for 90o, fall 0.75" in 100o, and dwell for the remainder. the cam is rotating at 5 rpm. choose suitable functions for rise and fall to minimize velocities. plot the s v a j diagrams. *round all answers to two decimal places* question 1 correct mark 1.00 out of 1.00 flag question question text which scca function should be used? select one: a. constant acceleration b. cycloidal displacement c. modified sine acceleration d. modified trapezoidal acceleration e. trapezoidal acceleration feedback your answer is correct. the correct answer is: modified sine acceleration question 2 correct mark 1.00 out of 1.00 flag question question text what is the length of zone 3 for the rise segment in degrees?

Light from the sun reaches the earth in 8.3 minutes. the velocity is 3.00 x 10^8 m/s. how far is earth from the sun? i know how to get to d = (3 x 10^8 m/s)(498 sec). i just don't know how to get from there to the answer being 1.5 x 10^11 m.
