An ac generator is made by rotating a bar magnet about a vertical axis. in the side view, there is a rectangular loop of wire to the right of the magnet. in the top view, that loop of wire shows up as a line since you can only see one edge of it. in the side view as it is drawn, you are seeing the magnet when it is in position 2 determine the direction of the induced current in that loop of wire (cw or ccw in the side view) as the magnet rotates from position 1 to position 2. then continue to explain the induced current direction for the next three 90 rotations which bring the magnet back to position 1 side view top view
