key information:

ep = mass × graviational field strength × height

g = 10n/kg on earth.

a) the kingda ka rollercoaster has a maximum height of 139 m above the bottom of the ride. what would be the gravitational potential energy of a 60 kg student at the top of this ride?

b) the roller coaster then falls downwards to the bottom of the ride. how much gravitational potential energy will the student lose?

c) what has happened to this gravitational potential energy?
