Suppose a pulse of light is emitted by a source at an angle a = /2 and frequency w in a frame of reference that is stationary with respect to the source (see figure 1 in part iii of the notes for definition of the angle). the observer is stationary in a reference frame that is boosted by v = -0.5 in the x-direction with respect to the source frame. what frequency w' will the observer find the light pulse to have.
